TN Ward Company (TNW) advocates sustainable construction practices and we have completed various LEED certified buildings ranging up to LEED Gold to date. Our employees embrace the objective of sustainable construction which is to integrate a wide range of building design, construction and operation & maintenance practices to provide healthier living and working environments, plus minimize environmental impacts. TNW construction teams will use materials such as low emitting paints, carpet adhesive, and other products with low volatile organic compounds (VOCs) to promote healthier indoor environments.

TN Ward brings a "whole building systems" perspective to support collaboration among all project stake holders throughout the design, procurement and construction phases. TNW team members maintain focus on facility outcomes such as cost effectiveness and long term affordability; structural durability and strength; energy efficiency; climate change mitigation; conservation of water and other natural resources; comfort (acoustical, visual, thermal, etc.); human productivity, safety and health; indoor air quality; and reduction of outdoor air, water and ground pollution.
