Vaux Big Picture High School Phased Renovations

Project Description:
TN Ward performed this 175,000 SF fast-track, design-build renovation in three phases to accommodate the new Vaux Big Picture High School. The work encompassed 45 percent of the total building space and included the remediation and rehabilitation of 10 classrooms, a multi-purpose room, administrative offices, cafeteria, health partner suite, gymnasium and locker rooms, restrooms, circulation areas, support service areas, and building infrastructure upgrades. Vaux Big Picture High School is one of the City of Philadelphia’s newest college preparatory schools and is part of PHA’s Choice Neighborhood Transformation Plan for the Sharswood-Blumberg neighborhood.
