Bryn Mawr Trust – Ardmore Branch
Ardmore, PA
Project Description:
This 10,000 SF steel frame structure features a precast panel and plaster façade plus dramatic two-story, atrium lobby allowing for natural light. The one-story program was expanded to fit a two-story volume, fitting with other two-story buildings on the street. Public and private areas are situated along a central axis maximizing the building’s interior. The front entry encompasses a park-like pedestrian plaza and serves as a gateway to the downtown area. A drive-up teller window is positioned in a remote location behind the bank to maximize vehicle circulation in the rear of the building while maintaining a pedestrian-friendly front entry. This is one of six Pennsylvania branch locations built by TNW in addition to Havertown, Newtown Square, Bala Cynwyd, Wayne and Paoli.
