The Sustainable Energy Fund – Net-Zero Energy Office Building
Schnecksville, PA

Project Description:

TN Ward constructed this 15,000 SF commercial office building under a design-build agreement with The Sustainable Energy Fund (SEF). The wood-framed building houses SEF’s 3,000 SF headquarters office suite and offers 11,000 SF of leasable office space for tenants. Shared amenity spaces for tenants include a conference room / classroom, kitchen and restrooms. Using 75% less operating energy than comparable structures and generating 130% of its energy use from roof-mounted solar panels, the facility represents SEF’s goal to demonstrate the financial feasibility of a market-rate net-zero energy building.
